“Because I honor the inborn potential of everyone to
be truly healthy. Because I
desire to help the newborn, the aged, and those without hope.
Because I choose to care for the patient with the disease, not the
disease. Because I wish to assist rather than intrude; to free rather than
control. Because I seek to
correct the cause, not its effect. Because
I know doctors do not heal, only the body can heal itself. Because I have been called to serve others.
Because I want to make a difference.
Because everyday I get to witness miracles.”
As I stated in my last article, my career started at a
very young age. I have
witnessed, many times, the incredible power of the human body to heal when
the demand is there.
Once again, notice the mentality of our public
misunderstanding that everything has a remedy and a cure in dope
(medication). Our kids watch us
have a little problem so we run to the medicine cabinet. Name one drug that has ever promoted the body to do its own
healing. The answer is none.
We have programs to discourage our kids from using drugs, and yet at
school they are standing in lines at the nurses office to use their Tylenol,
inhalers, Ritalin, etc. What
does the sign say above the nurses office?
“Say No To Drugs.” We are sending our kids mixed signals. There are more drugs in history than we have ever seen, and
yet people are dying at the same rate and if they are not, the quality of
life is minimal.
I wanted to become a chiropractor to help maintain
knowledge with our wisdom of creation that is the same wisdom of healing.
Many of us go to church and believe in our Creator but we find it
difficult to believe in ourselves. Why
am I a chiropractor? Because I
believe in miracles and I am a dreamer that all people have an inherited
right by birth to be healthy.
Chiropractically
